There are two types of aquatic ecosystems: Marine ecosystems and Freshwater ecosystems. But before going into them, I´ll have to explain the different aquatic organisms and types. It´s obvious that here I will not be mentioning if hamsters can live in these ecosystems because... they can´t. Well, they can swim, but not LIVE there. So the hamsters will not be relevant here. Now, there are three types of aquatic organisms:
- Plankton: The community of drifting microscopic organisms that live in the water. Examples are amoebas and protozoa.
- Nekton: The community of organisms that swim and move independently. Examples are fish and marine mammals.
- Benthos: The community of organisms that live attached to a substrate, like algaes and anemones.
Now, for the material, which is in galician, obviously.
